Piano 4 on Eat Streat. Out of all 4 pianos this one was the least protected but for certain weathered the best thanks to the loving care of Scotty (Scotties Bar), and Arawa Fine Wines looking after it by pulling it under cover on the really bad rainy days, and also it was one of the only pianos on the street that was made of solid Oak as apposed to veneer…. Still was playable after nearly 9 weeks out on the street and almost 2 of those weeks being pretty solid rain.
This piano and piano number 3 have gone to a local piano student who could not afford one of their own.

What a brilliant idea… Arawa Fine Wines has enjoyed the wonderful people who have played outside our shop in Eat Streat.

Came over to Rotorua for the day with some friends, just walking down the street then boom!a piano! right there.Haha, was soo stoked it was heaps of fun just jamming on it for halfa hour or so, totaly made our day was BRILLIANT!!what a swell idea.
I saw the piano yesterday from the Fat Dog cafe, what a fabulously eccentric concept. I wish someone had played it, would have been wonderful to sit and listen, sharing music on a beautifully crisp autumn Sunday morning. Does it get any better? I think not.
Catherine and Henry came up from Taupo and we put on a couple of hours of arias and lieder in the street in April. Even got tips.

I was playing in Arawa Street one morning and this chap asked what it was about, so I told him and he sat down and rattled of Michelle & Yesterday.
